Bobashigaru
Ashigaru-Ryu is a complete Martial Arts system founded in the Netherlands. The basic is Full Contact Karate, Jujutsu, Kobujutsu and Kickboxing. But all these in one grading system and syllabus. Some Kata in Ashigaru Ryu come from Kyokushin, others from Shidokan and Kenpo. Some weapons used in the system are: tanto, tanbo, bo, jo, bokken, sai, tonfa, nunchaku and the yari. The systems uses a blue gi that stands for peace. On this moment there are braches in the Netherlands, Poland, Belarus, Indonesia and Morocco. The system uses a blue koi fish in the logo that stands for peace and wisdom. Another subdivision of Ashigaru Ryu is selfdefense. Ashigaru Ryu fighters have fought in the Netherlands, Russia, Ukraine, Sweden, Germany, Belgium, France, Portugal, Hungary and Tokyo Japan in Shidokan and Kyokushin Karate, winning hundreds of awards. Sensei Peppels the founder of Ashigaru Ryu also trained in the Masutatsu Oyama Honbu Dojo in Tokyo Japan. Sensei Pepels was also involved with Kaicho Jon Bluming in Kyokyshin Budokai before changing organizations and went to Kancho Gerard Gordeau of the International Budokai.
