Re-blocked
editYou have been blocked indefinitely for failing to live up to the promises that were the basis for your unblock in May 2019, where you for instance said "I will certainly not get personal with any editor over any subject anymore. It's hard to express how the current block impacted me: it made me look at my way of interacting with people. I feel I have learned my lesson, and that's why I could issue the recent UTRS appeal."[1] The unblocking admin, Huon, warned you at the time: "Should the previous behaviour recur, you'll quickly find yourself blocked again, and getting unblocked again would be far more difficult". I have reblocked you based on your current personalising of disputes, as can be seen in this ANI thread as well as at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sainik School, Manasbal and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Cheminformatics toolkits, which, according to your own statement, you took part in purely in revenge against The Banner. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Bishonen | tålk 17:36, 19 October 2020 (UTC).
- I can't blame you for doing so. I know when my work is done, and it's okay by me – I will not appeal for unblocking, at least not anywhere in the near future, but probably never (I never felt entirely comfortable in the written English language). For the continuation of things, of this project part, it would nevertheless still be best if a more thorough sysop would grant my legit request for a deletion request ban for The Banner. <Personal attack removed.>
- Short shout out to EEng, whom I have hit hard, probably harder than he might acknowledge, but without harm: I know you mean well and I know you have quite some talents, and I wish you well (and the world will not end when Trump is elected again, which will probably happen).
- Before I get sentimental, I will say thank you to those who have appreciated our cooperation. I might possibly answer further comments here, if "they" allow me and if I think it's necessary. Cheerio, Jürgen Eissink (talk) 19:40, 19 October 2020 (UTC).
- You used your talkpage access to abuse your opponent. After some hesitation, I've left most of your comment, merely removing the actual personal attack. But after that, you don't get to post on this page again. I also ask other users to avoid posting comments/questions that require an answer here, since Eissink can't respond. - Thank you Bishonen. This won't require an answer from Eissink: I just want to say that this is really sad. I was just looking at Ludwig Nick, an article that also provides a good opportunity to make some redlinks blue. And that article, I'm thinking about nominating it for DYK because it's good work--if only Eissink could have kept their personal affairs out of Wikipedia. Drmies (talk) 14:56, 22 October 2020 (UTC)

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System. If the block is a CheckUser or Oversight block, was made by the Arbitration Committee or to enforce an arbitration decision (arbitration enforcement), or is unsuitable for public discussion, you should appeal to the Arbitration Committee.
Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.
Site ban
editPer community consensus at ANI (permalink), you are site banned. This means that you are "forbidden from making any edit, anywhere on Wikipedia, via any account or as an unregistered user, under any and all circumstance
". This ban is indefinite. For more information on bans (and how they differ from WP:BLOCKs), please see WP:BAN. EvergreenFir (talk) 17:42, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
Global watchlist - Update 8
editUpdates associated with DannyS712's Global watchlist script and the Global watchlist extension:
As I noted in the last issue, I received a grant from the WMF to develop the global watchlist script into an extension. That extension has now been deployed on Meta. Visit m:Special:GlobalWatchlistSettings to get started.
I do not plan on any further developments being made to the user script. I have released version 9.1.0 to both the dev and stable versions, which includes a notification about the extension being available when you use the user script. You can dismiss the notification, and the script still works, but it will no longer be maintained.
Those interested in providing feedback for the extension should use the phabricator board, phabricator:tag/mediawiki-extensions-globalwatchlist. Any bug reports about the extension should be filed there.
This will likely be the last update sent to this list.
Thanks, --DannyS712 (talk) 19:42, 17 February 2021 (UTC)
Global watchlist - Update 9
editUpdates associated with DannyS712's Global watchlist script and the Global watchlist extension:
Hi everyone. As I noted in the last issue, I received a grant last year from the WMF to develop the global watchlist script into an extension. That extension has now been deployed on Meta. Visit m:Special:GlobalWatchlistSettings to get started.
That grant has ended, and I have requested another grant to continue development of the extension, and figured subscribers of the newsletter about the user script might be interested. You can see and comment on the grant request at m:Grants:Project/DannyS712/Continued work on GlobalWatchlist extension - if you support this, I hope you'll consider endorsing the request.
