Project News Montreal Screwjob was featured on the Main Page as "Today's featured article" on November 9, 2007. December to Dismember (2006) and Shelton Benjamin have been elevated to Featured article status. Their respective nomination pages can see viewed here and here. Bobby Eaton is currently a Featured Article candidate. It's nomination page can be found here. Images of Beth Phoenix and the Crippler Crossface are currently Featured picture candidates. Their respective nomination pages can be found here and here. IWGP World Heavyweight Championship and NWA World Women's Championship are currently Featured list candidates. Their respective nomination pages can be found here and here. Al Costello, In Your House 1: Premiere and One Night Stand (2005) have been elevated to Good article status. Cyber Sunday (2007), Melina Perez, One Night Stand (2006) and Randy Orton are currently Good article candidates.

Current Events Solofa Fatu (known as Junior Fatu, and previously as Rikishi) was released from Total Nonstop Action Wrestling on October 25 2007 over a financial dispute, ending his short lived return to television. John Layfield's wife takes serious heat over Citigroup financial advice on November 1 2007. Brooke Adams (known simply as Brooke) was released from World Wrestling Entertainment on November 1 2007. Lilian Ellison (known as The Fabulous Moolah) passed away November 2 2007 at age 84. Chris Mordetsky and Harry Smith (known as Chris Masters and D.H. Smith, respectively) were suspended from World Wrestling Entertainment as of November 2 2007 for Wellness Policy violations. Mordetsky was released from his contract six says later.

I hope this will be a good source of news to those people interested in what's happening around our pro wrestlimg community. I plan to release it every Sunday. This newsletter will just be a way to get the community announcements to people who don't have the time to check the mesageboards, as well that to those just curious about the news. The newsleter will consist of a project news section (to do with what's happening on Wikipedia), and a current events section (relating to news in the "real world"). The newslette will also contain the Collaboration of the Week announcement. That's all. Project News Bobby Eaton has been elevated to Featured article status. Its nomination page can be viewed here. In Your House 1 is currently a Featured Article candidate. Its nomination page can be found here. IWGP World Heavyweight Championship and NWA World Women's Championship have been elevated to Featured list status. Their respective nomination pages can be viewed here and here. Melina Perez and One Night Stand (2006) have been elevated to Good article status. Amy Dumas, Briscoe Brothers, Don Kent (wrestler), Mickie James, Randy Orton, Royal Rumble (1994), and WrestleMania III are currently Good article candidates. Current Events Booker Huffman and Sharmell Sullivan-Huffman (known as Booker T and Sharmell, respectively) debuted in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling on November 11 2007 at the Genesis pay-per-view, nearly three weeks after being released from World Wrestling Entertainment. WWE released the video game WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2008 on November 13 2007. The game is available for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PSP, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS and Wii consoles. John Cena takes heat from CNN after an interview involving mentions of steroids. Christopher Irvine (known as Chris Jericho) returned to WWE after a two year hiatus, debuting on the November 19 2007 edition of RAW following months of speculation. Matt Hardy suffered from an inflamed appendix, rendering him unable to wrestle at Survivor Series and possibly for 8-10 weeks.
