Saeta Perú

I have declined the speedy deletion nomination of Saeta Perú as "obviously made up", because it isn't ar all obvious that it's made up. However, nothing indicates that the company is significant, so I have nominated it for speedy deletion for that reason. Obviously, if you have evidence of significance please provide it. I also saw that you removed a notability tag from the article on the grounds that the company has a "government oc". I suggest you have a look at Wikipedia's notability guidelines to see what kind of evidence of notability ia needed. JBW (talk) 13:37, 10 October 2021 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Flight Miniatures

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Flight Miniatures requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. – S.   Hello, I'm Ohnoitsjamie. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Gift card have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. OhNoitsJamie Talk 23:54, 24 October 2021 (UTC)

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. OhNoitsJamie Talk 00:02, 25 October 2021 (UTC)

**Jamie you are not familiar with my work of 19 years at wikipedia; if you were, then you would know I am not at all about advertising. I think the information is important because we should have at least one example of a collector's page. Colnect is not a retailer but a free page, they don't sell (I think members might but that's another matter). another thing is that, about the external links, a lot of people want external links, and many would delete info without external links.I removed the links per-you, but someday someone else might put the external links tag there. And unfortunately in those cases, the best links I could find were the ones provided by those companies (I'd myself would have rather put the link to Delta as I prefer them to American but American's link came first to my browser) I don't know what the problem is, and I can't say if most or not, but I know many wikipedians would not have a problem with those links being there or the Colnect info. Thank you and God bless you! Antonio Cherokee Martin 00:14, October 23, 2021 (UTC)
Colnect is a for-profit company; using direct links to such a site as references is tantamount to advertising for them; furthermore, WP:RS discourages the use of primary sources for references. Thank you for removing the link. OhNoitsJamie Talk 00:44, 25 October 2021 (UTC)
Well I didn't know that about Colnect lol what do you know? They are my favorite page as far as info on collectibles but I had no idea. Anyways sure, anytime. Avoiding an edit war is good for one's health and keeps my bp to a certain level anyways. :) Thanks and God bless! Antonio The one who has a private Cessna jet over his head right now Martin 01:08, October 23, 2021 (UTC)
Also, my apologies for templating you instead of being more specific about my concerns, I should've noticed that you're not a newbie. The Gift card article attracts a lot of spam, most of if not what I'd call good-faith. Your additions clearly were in good faith. Cheers, OhNoitsJamie Talk 01:13, 25 October 2021 (UTC)
No problems Jamie, I dont even know what templating is anyways...lol In my 19 years at Wikipedia, even though it has been recommended, I seldom ever go through the other wikipedia stuff like guidelines etc. I have been there from time to time but...well early on I used to be an administrator and after years I was demoted because that title was really just symbolic in my case...like the title President of some countries haha...I'm just an editing and writing machine, that is what I enjoy. Specially about boxing and about airlines and aviation in general. That said, it's all good, you don't have to worry. Thanks and God bless you! Speedy deletion nomination of Los Temerarios

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Los Temerarios requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from samesautoarena.com/events/view/details/?event_id=1027. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

Speedy deletion nomination of Deportes Salvador Colom

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Deportes Salvador Colom, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Take 5 (oil company) moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Take 5 (oil company), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Proposed deletion of Crystal McKellar

The article Crystal McKellar has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable, neither as an actress nor as an attorney. Sister of the notable Danica McKellar, but that is not in itself a basis of notability for Crystal. The only twinge of notability is the nomination (but not win) of a relatively minor award (which is unsourced).

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
