Hi i have noticed that you have edited several articles on subjects related to the Philadelphia area. Several other users and myself have got together to creak a project to help improve, expand, and create articles concerning the Philadelphia/Delaware Valley region. While our project is still new, we are inviting people to join us to help it get started off on the right foot. You can find the project at Wikipedia:WikiProject Philadelphia, feel free to add your name and drop off an suggestions that you might have. If you have any questions, drop me a line anytime. Thanks. --Boothy443 | trácht ar 04:10, 28 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

You and User:Lasallefan

edit

As I've mentioned before, you and he are oil/water. I strongly suggest you avoid interacting with him. At this time, he feels he is being wiki-stalked by you. Please see User_talk:Durin#PAs. This is not friendly behavior. If in fact you are following him around to articles he is editing, I suggest you find other ways in which to contribute to Wikipedia and avoid interacting with him as much as is possible. If this situation continues to degrade, it will result in a Wikipedia:Requests for comment on user behavior, and if it continues after that could eventually lead to Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration. Let's stop this in its tracks, and avoid working with Lasallefan (and, since I'm sure he's readying this...Lasallefan you working with Pacdude). --Durin 17:48, 7 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • Duly noted, and I will try to avoid him. I don't find it fair however, that he makes all these accusations about me, but nothing on him. He's caused a lot of drama already with more than one user (and I'm mad at the fact that I keep being accused of sock puppetry. I AM NOT EARTHWATCH OR WEXPROCKS. I AM NEITHER ONE AND THAT FACT CANNOT BE CLEARER.) I've already been banned for alleged vandalism and yet he's been warned again and again about deleting comments (which he's done on this page among others), making useless pages, and being disagreeable. Why hasn't he been banned yet? It boggles the mind. I'm not asking you to ban him, but it's open to debate.
  • I am watching him rather closely. He's done a number of things which I find to be not in line with our level of acceptance for editing. I've been attempting to improve his behavior through mostly suggestion, though I did have to block him once. To be honest, I see him improving. He's made a number of errors along the way, but he is getting better. What I see is him making new mistakes. I'm ok with that so long as the mistakes are honest, and I believe they are. For example, he made this edit. Some admins would block on site when faced with that. I didn't, instead issuing him a warning [1]. If he repeats that sort of behavior, I'll block. But, I did not have prior evidence that he had made a similar error, or that he had any prior understanding of the standard view of such an edit being vandalism. Patience, believe in m:Eventualism. --Durin 18:33, 7 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Stuff

edit

Hi Pacdude - User:Tucans is permanently blocked now. I had to wait for some additional edits from the account before I felt it was appropriate to take decisive action. I also deleted some of the account's edits. Bottom line is that Wikipedia isn't the forum to engage in this sort of negativity, so if similar accounts start cropping up, let me know. I tend to look at these on a case-by-case basis, so at any point if you feel what has been done isn't adequate enough, feel free to escalate the situation to WP:AN/I. Lots of administrators look at that board and will be able to jump in and help out quickly. --HappyCamper 16:50, 19 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Tucans

edit

I think its unfair, how I Tucans, was blocked because of pacdudes outrageous behavior towards jameee23, you guys are hiding the true side of pacdude. I never vandalized pacdudes wiki page, as I told you before my friend logged into my account and vandalized it framing me. Also i think its outrageous how pacdude has vandalized sites himself but he gets special treatment, so he will not get banned. Unlike me however who did not vandalize the site! As my friend did, but I still got banned for it. While pacdude did it himself gets away with it without getting even a warning. Please treat everyone equally especially when you get elected to be a moderator.

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Wexp.gif

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Wexp.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 10:23, 21 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Email address on your Pacdude Games website

Hi there! I tried sending you an e-mail to the e-mail address specified on the 'Contact' page of your Pacdude Games website. The e-mail I sent subsequently bounced back stating "no such user" errors (the Email apparently forwarded to your Gmail account which is evidently no longer valid). Figured I'd give you a heads up! :) —S3BST3R (talk) 09:43, 20 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
