editHello. Some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Turn Up the Music (Chris Brown song), have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Thank you. SummerPhDv2.0 18:55, 6 October 2019 (UTC)

editHello, I'm Doctorhawkes. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Heaven (Bryan Adams song) have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Thanks. Doctorhawkes (talk) 08:11, 23 February 2021 (UTC)
First of all, how do I use the sandbox? Second, is listing songs that are simply categorized "Rock" and giving them at least a proper subgenre on my sandbox a good idea? Also, the main reason why I've categorized both Tom Petty's "Refugee" and Bruce Springsteen's "Glory Days" as Heartland Rock instead of "Rock" is because not only do both of the aforementioned songs sound like it upon listening closely to them, but both of the aforementioned musicians were known to be notable Heartland Rock performers. I'm sorry, but just "Rock" isn't gonna cut it for me because it's not specific enough for my strict music genre standards; same thing goes to songs that go simply by "Country", "House", or "EDM". Thank you for your time. SodaliteMalachite (talk) 03:48, 23 February 2021 (UTC–06:00)
- Not to be rude, but it doesn't matter whether it cuts it for you. Any unsourced additions will probably be reverted, which I suspect has already happened to most things you have added to Wikipedia. Genres need a reliable source to be added. See WP:RS. Doctorhawkes (talk) 10:16, 23 February 2021 (UTC)
