The only Donald Atkinson that I can find in Wikipedia is Donald R. Atkinson. Perhaps move Donald R. Atkinson to Donald Atkinson? Leschnei (talk) 15:57, 20 April 2021 (UTC)

- A simple search does show another (recently deleted) one named at Venta Icenorum, Bremetennacum, and Kathleen Mary Tyrer Atkinson - his wife. And different ones here: Marion Koogler McNay, 2002 Michigan Senate election. Thanks. JabberJaw (talk) 23:57, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
- And Don Atkinson’s are mentioned here: List of Water Rats episodes, Northern Football Netball League, 1996 British Columbia general election, Powell River-Sunshine Coast among others. JabberJaw (talk) 00:18, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
- Keep: Have rescued the two who were recently commented out, by finding blue links for them, and added one more. The proposer says "The only Donald Atkinson that I can find in Wikipedia is Donald R. Atkinson.", but it was not hard to find blue links for the entries which they had themseles just commented out. PamD 07:01, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
- The archaeologist was an FSA and probably merits an article, though this says that "Atkinson received no Festschrift or any other kind of dedicatory volume while alive and no obituary and bibliography in any national journal after his death." so it might be a challenge. - If it's reasonably conceivable that these WP:red links have WP:potential, keep the anthroponymy article as is, instead of trying to short-circuit navigation to point to a single person who may not be the WP:primary topic. This is typically bad because it makes it harder for newbies to actually find a way to write more articles about the other people, and when they finally do that, we have to go through ambiguous links anyway. --Joy [shallot] (talk) 17:25, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
- Keep all meet criteria at MOS:DABMENTION, MOS:DABRL, MOS:DABENTRY. Boleyn (talk) 21:37, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
- Comment MOS:DABMENTION allows entries linking to the most trivial of mentions. I've yet to understand if that is good or bad.—Bagumba (talk) 08:20, 25 April 2021 (UTC)

- Keep. At its current state this is a valid and useful disambiguation page. There may be a case for moving Donald R. Atkinson but that's a different process. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 11:15, 6 May 2021 (UTC)
