Orfen (talk · contribs) I have been editing Wikipedia for a couple months now. My account was created in June but I didn't first edit until July. Since then I have been constantly trying to improve how I edit Wikipedia. I like many other editors, dream of becoming an administrator eventually, but at the moment I do not feel I am experienced enough. I at the moment am just looking for a review to see how good of a job I am doing editing Wikipedia. I would like to know which areas to work on to help further this project.  Orfen User Talk | Contribs 23:28, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Reviews

  • Hello there. Well, I see that you are a valued contributor to the article mainspace, and you are going well with templates too. However, if you intend to become an administrator, you will have to start getting involved with Wikipedia's internal machinery. Administrative-oriented tasks include countervandalism, XfD, new page patrol, etc. Knowledge of the policies is also fundamental. If you balance your article building performance with administrative roles then I foresee a successful RfA in a few months. I could also suggest that you add an edit summary to all minor edits. Keep up the good work. Regards.--Húsönd 23:29, 5 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the review Husönd, it was very helpful. However, this review has been around for a while, so I have withdrawn it from the page and archived it. Again, thank you for the review.  Orfen User Talk | Contribs 03:03, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
Answer: Out of all my contributions, I would have to say I am particularly pleased with my edits to My Chemical Romance and related articles. I am also pleased with some of the work I have done to Green Day and related articles. A majority of my edits are in entertainment type articles such as music, anime, television, and video games.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
Answer: I cannot say that anyone has caused me stress while editing Wikipedia. I have tried to treat all Wikipedians with civility and tried to avoid conflicts with all Wikipedians whether they agree with me or not on the talk pages. If however, there was a conflict in the future I would resolve it without making personal attacks and to treat the person with as much civility as I treat others and as much respect as I would like to be treated.
