- Image:Waves reflecting from a curved mirror.PNG (delete | talk | history | logs) - uploaded by Theresa knott (notify | contribs).
- The image does not accurately represent reflection by a curved mirror. In the image, the wavefronts appear to converge to the center of curvature of the mirror. This is incorrect. A plane wave reflected from a curved mirror converges to a focal point half-way between the mirror and the center of curvature. This image is flawed and should not be used for any purpose. Srleffler (talk) 04:38, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. The figure is indeed flawed. The reflected wavefronts appear to have equal phase on the mirror surface, which can't be correct. An accurate drawing will show that the actual focus is halfway between the curvature center and the mirror surface. — AdiJapan 07:51, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

- You can actually delete this because it is already on the commons. I don't think the creative argument holds. There's a whole category of such signs that it would apply to.--Patrick «» 02:49, 12 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
