Derivative work of that bronze sculpture. No evidence or claim that the sculpture's copyright is either freely license or in the public domain. Also, the upload description is "taken by PR staff," which raises questions about the image's permission. GrapedApe (talk) 02:18, 22 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Comment - One item that would be relevant was when the sculpture was unveiled. I tried to find the date, but I was unsuccessful.--Rockfang (talk) 19:35, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Yes, that information would be helpful in determining the copyright status of the sculpture. My guess is that the image is relatively recent, since statute does not appear to have corroded. Also, there is still a problem with the copyright of the photograph, since it belongs to the college's PR staff, and there is no evidence that there is permission for the image, much less the sculpture.--GrapedApe (talk) 20:06, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
