The result of the discussion was: delete. As noted WP:NFCC#1 appears to not be satisfied here Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 09:35, 20 May 2019 (UTC)
- File:Prime Minister Indira Gandhi with Rahul Gandhi 1970.jpg (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by Wikicab (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).
Proposing to delete this image as many free images of Gandhi are available and this in particular is not indicated to be very crucial and necessary. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {Talk / Edits} 06:43, 13 May 2019 (UTC)
- Keep. The rationale for deletion is not very convincing. Creuzbourg (talk) 19:59, 13 May 2019 (UTC)
- Delete This image is in copyright per the license information header. Our guidelines make an exception if and only if "for whom there is no known representation under a 'free' license". This link shows we have "a lot of representative, good [better] quality images with free and CC licenses available" for wiki-sister projects for the individuals shown. Keeping this image, or such images for any other individual, betrays the letter and spirit of our efforts to comply with the copyright laws. Ms Sarah Welch (talk) 03:48, 14 May 2019 (UTC)
- Delete Not used according to the stated rationale "for visual identification of the person in question, at the top of his/her biographical article", for which a free image already exists. Essentially fails WP:NFCC#10c now and will fail WP:NFCC#1 in any conceivable scenario. – Finnusertop (talk ⋅ contribs) 11:37, 14 May 2019 (UTC)
