Merely being published on another website or audio cd is not an indication that a valid copyright is held. See Public Domain Day many works even though in the public domain are published complete with copyright tags, sometimes these are because they are not claiming copyright on the text (say), but on the overall layout, pictures etc. other times they are simply wrong.
