Pardon me, i don't understand what is a sourced commentary, can you give me an example of sourced commentary. To meet WPNFCC#8, you must indicate why "its presence would significantly increase readers' understanding of the article topic, and its omission would be detrimental to that understanding." The stated purpose is vague with no indication as to why this image is needed in the article. As used in the article, it is purely decorative. There needs to be commentary in the article about the image itself, and that commentary needs to be significant and sourced to independent reliable sources.

This non-free image is claimed to be a poster for a TV show season. However, it looks like a screenshot and not a poster. Note the Sun TV logo is clipped at the right edge. As a screenshot it does not meet meet the stated purpose of visual identification nor is it the subject of significant sourced commentary. Fails WP:NFCC#8. This non-free image is stated as "Illustrates the subject of the article. It also show this Cunard Line ship sporting unique Cunard Line funnel's color." Its usage for straight illustration purposes fails WP:NFCC#1 as there are plenty of free images of the ship. As for showing the Cunard colours, the lack of this image would not detract from a reader's understanding of the subject, and there are in fact adverts and diagrams that are already in the article that include the Cunard funnel. Problematic image, basing on its file history. The uploader does not want it moved to Commons. Another user assumed that it was "keep local", but the uploader reverted it by saying it is not "keep local" but that they do not want to have it moved. Then an IP (not sure if it was the uplpader themself) added {{FoP-US}}. If this is the reason on why the file should not be moved, then it is unreasonable: WikiCommons always accepts images of U.S. buildings because there is full FOP in the U.S. for architectural works. The fact that the uploader does not want to have this moved there (for some reason, but not "keep local") makes this file somehow problematic.
