Welcome to the tenth Bugle for 2020!
The regular article news section features many new FAs and A-class articles, as well as a plethora of featured pictures. Nick-D and Hog Farm have contributed to our book review section looking at books on Franklin D. Roosevelt and the Battle of Chancellorsville, respectively.
The elections for the XX project coordinator tranche concluded at the end of September, resulting in ten coordinators elected from a field of twelve. Peacemaker67 was re-elected lead coordinator for a third stint, and Gog the Mild, Hawkeye7, Parsecboy, Sturmvogel 66 and Zawed were also re-elected. It is great to see a mix of experienced and new coordinators, with Eddie891, Harrias, Hog Farm and Indy beetle joining the coordinator team for the first time. Thanks to CPA-5, Iazyges, Kges1901 and Векочел for their efforts in the last year(s), and thanks to all who put their hand up to help keep the project wheels moving. Finally, Ian Rose was unanimously elected Coordinator Emeritus in recognition of his long-standing contributions to the project, joining project stalwarts Kirill Lokshin (2008), Roger Davies (2009) and TomStar81 (2018). Congratulations, Ian. A most thoroughly deserved accolade that signifies the esteem you are held in by members of the project.
Welcome to Fcjh, who joined the project in September and has an interest in Russian military uniforms, Pizzaking13, who is keen on Salvadoran military history (a poorly covered area on en WP), and FlowerPetals who has broad interest in military history. Welcome also to OyMosby, who is interested in military hardware and would be happy to help any editor with proofreading, verification and sources. And finally, Johnnie Bob, who is interested in fortifications and the Philippines. Feel free to approach any project member for advice!
Your editors, Ian Rose (talk) and Nick-D (talk)

First place went to Sturmvogel 66 with 81 points from 9 articles and they were awarded the Wikichevrons. Gog the Mild came second with 67 points from 8 articles, for which they received the Writer's Barnstar. Also scoring were Catlemur, Djmaschek, Hog Farm, Lineagegeek, Parsecboy, PlanespotterA320 and Zawed. Congratulations and thanks to all participants. You can self-assess up to C-class for the contest, but B-class assessments need to be done by another editor. This is best organised by posting at WP:MHAR. Make sure to add your entries for the September contest as soon as they are promoted, this allows time for them to be checked progressively.
