æ, or Æ, is the result of a failed experiment in an attempt to create the perfect letter. The genes from the letters a and e were taken for this experiment, thus creating this horrible monstrosity of a lovechild.

The use of æ in the English language was outlawed in the 1890's. However, this hasn't stopped some people from using it, who created the following words:

The latter is truly the most diabolical use of æ that humanity has ever seen.
