Jack Burke (born 12 June 1995) is a Canadian bicycle racer, Author and Podcaster who currently rides for Scott Sports and his books can be found at https://howtobecomeaprocyclist.com. As a junior cyclist Burke was one of the best road cyclists in North America but after winning and breaking the time trial course record at the tour de l`Abitibie he tested positive in a drug test. In 2014, he was cleared of any wrong doing and remains the only athlete to test positive then be found to "bare no fault" as Hydrochlorothiazide, the drug he tested positive for was traced back to the drinking water where the race was located. ^[4]

In late 2022 he was hit by a car while training and sustained a broken back, bleeding on his brain and permanent scaring to his face. To help pay for his medical bills he started to write a training guide which turned into his first book "How To Become A Pro Cyclist". After the success of the first book, his Podcast "How To Become a Pro Cyclist With Jack Burke" begain to grow with pros and coaches who loved the book coming on. Burke also competed for Team Canada at the 2024 ISMF Ski Mountaineering World Championships in Cortina, Italy where he placed 17th and the best non European in his first race after using Ski Mountaineering to train for cycling during the winter. The 2024 World Championships are his only race in Ski Mountaineering.^[6]
