Jack Lausch is an American football quarterback for the Northwestern Wildcats.
Early life and high school
[edit]Lausch attended Brother Rice High School located in Chicago, Illinois. In Lausch's senior season, he threw for 2,447 yards and 20 touchdowns, while also adding 1,084 yards and 21 touchdowns on the ground.[1] Coming out of high school, Lausch was rated as a three-star recruit, where he decided to commit to play college football for the Northwestern Wildcats.[2][3]
College career
[edit]During Lausch's freshman season in 2022, he played in just one game where he completed four of his eight pass attempts for 68 yards and an interception.[4] Heading into week three of the 2024 season, Lausch was named as the Wildcats starting quarterback.[5][6] During the 2023 season, Lausch played in ten games where he completed two of his three passes for ten yards. while rushing 19 times for 80 yards and a touchdown, and hauling in two receptions for nine yards.[7] In his week three matchup versus the Eastern Illinois Panthers, he threw for 227 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing seven times for 62 yards, as he helped Northwestern to a 31-7 win.[8]
