Satan Girl is the name of several characters appearing in media published by DC Comics, primarily as enemies of Supergirl. The first is a clone of Supergirl created by red kryptonite, the second is a colonial witch, and the third is an alien deity.

Fictional character biography

[edit]

Supergirl clone

[edit]

The first Satan Girl is a clone of Supergirl created after she is accidentally exposed to red kryptonite. She infects various members of the Legion of Super-Heroes in an attempt to prolong her existence, but is ultimately defeated by Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Pets and killed after the kryptonite's effects expire.[1][2][3][4]

Dolores Pratchet

[edit]

The second Satan Girl is colonial witch Dolores Pratchet, whose daughter Rachel became an Angel of Fire alongside her friend Ember after saving her from being executed. Dolores works with the demonic Carnivore to save the two, gaining magical powers and becoming Satan Girl. After being transported to the present day and battling Supergirl, Ember returns to the past to prevent Rachel from rescuing her, erasing Satan Girl from existence.[4]

S'tanicule Gyrstress

[edit]

The third Satan Girl is S'tanicule Gyrstess, the Brocian goddess of love and death from another dimension. She is transported to the main universe when Brainiac 5 accidentally blasts an old Brocian statue dedicated to her with chronon energy. However, Supergirl and Brainiac 5 ultimately defeat S'tanicule and return her to her dimension.[4]

Powers and abilities

[edit]

The first Satan Girl had all of Supergirl's powers.

The second Satan Girl had various magical abilities, such as the power to cast spells, travel through time, and generate blue flame.
