[edit]

Is it certain Cyrillic Ӕ is unrelated to the Latin digraph Æ? Wasn't it imported from the Latin alphabet, similar to Serbian Ј? Also, the word "unrelated" seems slightly far-fetched anyway, since Latin/Greek/Cyrillic A/Α/А and E/Ε/Е are basically identical, anyway. What could be claimed is that it was a separate similar innovation, but even that looks doubtful. 惑乱 分からん * \)/ (\ (< \) (2 /) /)/ * 00:03, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Title

[edit]

Why the current title "Ae (Cyrillic)", it seems strange to have an incorrect title to facilitate for non-unicode users? I mean, it isn't a Latin Ae or Ае, it's an Ӕ. 惑乱 Wakuran (talk) 11:49, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

ӔӔ (Cyrillic) – The current title is visibly identical to the Latin ligature, a disambiguator is absolutely needed for clarity. Loytra (talk) 03:17, 21 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
