Merging

[edit]

merge it... there is almost no info on the other page Tomba 23:44, 28 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Official URL versus student-run web site

[edit]

I understand that AYJackson has a student-run web site, and there is a link to it from "External Links" at the bottom of the article. However, in the infobox to the right of the article, I believe it is preferable to a link to the official school board's web site. Thereby, I have reverted the last edit (2006-03-28). --Stephane Charette 02:14, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The two sites are basically identical so might as well as merge them
—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Edward cho (talkcontribs) .
Two sites:
  1. http://www.ayjackson.ca/
  2. http://www.tdsb.on.ca/scripts/Schoolasp.asp?schno=3432
...are very different. One seems to be a student-run web server, while the other is the official school board page for A. Y. Jackson. I think you confused this with the article merge request between A. Y. Jackson Secondary School (Toronto) and AY Jackson Secondary School. --Stephane Charette 23:57, 20 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Statistics

[edit]

Lots of statistics, not a single reference source in the entire article. In addtion, the article has conflicting information, such as:

Well, these stats are actually NOT in conflict b/c they have different meanings. The 1st one means 79% of them currently SPEAK a non-English language at home, while the 2nd one means 93.43% of them WAS BORN with a language other than English. 99.226.170.19 (talk) 00:44, 10 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please place the proper references in the article...especially when doing things like citing specific numbers! I'll add the necessary tag at the top of the article until someone can dig up the right numbers and cite things correctly. --Stephane Charette 06:59, 21 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've now removed the unsourced statistics. Feel free to add the text back if you can point to the source. --Stéphane Charette 17:05, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Alumni

[edit]

Can anyone lable them? Like this one for example http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_University_of_California%2C_Berkeley_alumni#Other_2. Ocikat (talk) 23:53, 18 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
