Deceptive content
[edit]This movie is described as the story of Father Christmas but it leaves out the all important facts that St. Nicholas was a CHRISTIAN saint and his faith in Christ was the reason he believed in hope and love. The plot of the movie is beautifully woven and the animation is very well done but the movie tries to pass itself off as the origin of Christmas. It fails to account for the factual detail that the word Christmas comes from Christ’s mass. The characters say the main character’s mother picked the word because she liked the sound of the word. This movie would not be appropriate for children who are not yet prepared to understand the difference between fact and fantasy or who might be confused by the attempt to eliminate Christ from CHRISTmas. 2600:1700:A2D1:1820:846D:DA1:D98:A5BE (talk) 10:52, 9 December 2021 (UTC)
