Edits of 5 November 2014

[edit]

The edits have been made. FIRSTLY, sections ‘Tourism’ and ‘Local Political Issues’ have been removed because these sections are off-topic (i.e. the content is relevant to the suburb of Aldinga Beach) and do not have any citations. In particularly, ‘Local Political Issues’ was tagged as being ‘uncited’ since October 2009 (i.e. 5 years ago). SECONDLY, the ‘History’ section has been upgraded to replace content is either trivial (i.e. Flinders did sail past but he did not specifically mention the locality in his book) or incorrect (i.e. the local port was Port Willunga and the Fleurieu Peninsula whose name came into use during the 20th century was served by ports at Myponga Beach, Carrickalinga, Normanville, Second Valley, Rapid Bay et al). THIRDLY, the following sentence from the lead section has been removed because the suburb is not on the coast (but rather several kilometres inland) and that it is not on the Fleurieu Peninsula: ‘Aldinga is well known for its long flat beaches on the Gulf St Vincent on the western side of Fleurieu Peninsula.’ Regards Cowdy001 (talk) 00:03, 5 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
