Removing PROD

[edit]

This business is not run-of-the-mill and has five pages of coverage in a book called Discovering Vintage Las Vegas: A Guide to the City's Timeless Shops, Restaurants, Casinos, & More. Either the article should stay or it should go to AfD. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 01:48, 3 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Cullen328, there is also another one: Vegas Brews: Craft Beer and the Birth of a Local Scene Borer, Michael Ian (2019), p.105. NYU Press. Curious however why the article creator did not search for more sources. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 05:56, 4 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Kudpung, I believe that she is traveling and busy with friends and tourism, and sometimes writes this type of quick stub about places she visits. Just ask her to expand it and mention that I am willing to help. Disclosure: she is a real world friend of mine. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 06:22, 4 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Because I'm busy and I do my best to create articles for notable subjects when time allows. I have three jobs. I'm lucky I get to take time off to edit Wikipedia as much as I do. I start a lot of stubs. These multiple PRODs are extremely demoralizing. Missvain (talk) 03:40, 5 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Kudpung seems to have the ability to check for notability fairly easily. Why did they not check before tagging the article? It appears from a message they sent to Missvain that they believe they don’t need to do this. I’m afraid they are very much mistaken. They should be doing a quick check before tagging! Articles do not always come out fully formed, they can and will improve over time. - Chris.sherlock (talk) 20:13, 5 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The article has four references now and there is no further doubt about the notability of the topic. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 05:23, 7 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
