[edit]Before saying the person is "unremarkable". The person does have prominence as she was the last person in Australia to recieve the death sentence. The death penalty has a long history in Australia. Brenda's sentence was the last in a long period in Australia. It was also symbolic in that Western Australia got rid of capital punishment soon after her sentence and this may or may not be one of the reasons behind its eventual demise in this state. it would be like removing the Ronald Ryan page who likewise helped end the death penalty in Victoria. Before you go deleting this page again before I can answer you arguements for or against, please note, I will not have access for two more weeks, so please keep this in mind before you put up another deleting date.Sliat 1981 (talk) 08:35, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
