Article Improvement
[edit]This article requires some improvement. I think the place to start is a guideline of weak areas to be improved.
- Improve Sectioning; break up the background section and elaborate
- Create articles for dead links (At The Mercy Of Inspiration, All Things Rock, Rock The Mill, Shotgun Rules, Hundred Grand Canyon, French Immersion (song), Pneumonia Hawk)
- Improve links (Such as Birthing The Giant, Cancer_Bats_EP)

Article Deletion
[edit]This article was deleted; see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Cancer Bats. Postdlf 21:35, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
- I'm bringing this article back on June 6th, 2006. Their new album comes out, they have performed many more shows and been on Much Music again and MTV Live (in Canada). Just thought I'd give you all a heads up.
- Just remember, be sure you go through Wikipedia:Deletion review to get approval for restoring the article. Otherwise, it will just be deleted per the original AFD vote. Postdlf 01:45, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
- Also, it may be better to wait a few weeks to see if the album charts at all. More information will make your case easier for all parties to decide. Dan, the CowMan 15:53, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
- A second deletion? Gimme a minute to gather all the new data into a better article. Then its gonna rock the casbah. Avenged Evanfold 02:49, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
- After undeletion per WP:DRV, this article was relisted on AFD; see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Cancer Bats (second nomination). The result was to keep. Postdlf 16:45, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit]this song is a line from pulp fiction. and should be known to others. Fabienne: Whose motorcycle is this? Butch: It's a chopper, baby. Fabienne: Whose chopper is this? Butch: It's Zed's. Fabienne: Who's Zed? Butch: Zed's dead, baby. Genre
[edit]Are there any reliable sources for the Cancer Bats being "metalcore"? I can't find any and i can't personally hear it (I'm aware my opinion doesn't hold any weight) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.177.0.240 (talk) 22:44, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
I think the only reliable source of sub genre identification is what the band considers themselves to be. Here are the tags for their most recent album on bandcamp:
- canadian metal hardcore metal punk southern metal stoner metal thrash metal punk southern metal stoner metal Toronto[1]
This supports your claim that they are not metalcore.192.171.23.86 (talk) 12:50, 23 May 2018 (UTC)
