"First"?

Should it be called "first sail-propelled merchant vessel"? Before steam engines, all merchant vessels were sail-propelled. Yes, they've gone away, but they did exist. Current owner of the ship? Who operates the ship?

The article prose says the ship "was owned by Jifmar Guyane" (company is a redlink). Who owns it now? What entity owns the ship now that "Jifmar Guyane" no longer owns it? Who operates the ship? Is it operated by Ariane Group directly? Or do they contract that out to a marine transportation operating company? N2e (talk) 23:22, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
