This is the Season 8 episode "Up Pompeii" from 17 September 1969 and, as you can see, it's in colour Perhaps it was screened as a colour test transmission like the first four episodes of Monty Python before the 15 November 1969 full launch of BBC1 colour? 81.158.134.73 (talk) 23:00, 29 December 2018 (UTC)
