Almost Complete Re-write
[edit]First, I found the wording in the first paragraph to be taken from this website http://professional.mit.edu/programs/short-programs/ceus and didn't think that was appropriate.
Then, after reading the entry, it seem to be biased towards the acceptance of these units and therefore the school or the fact that the school was accredited, but the reality is that they are not standardized and no profession that I could find actually mandated them as being usable towards professional development.
Should any article come to light that is not created by a school, online or otherwise, nor created by an accrediting body, which has some research it it, I think the article should stand as I have re-written it.

Accrediting Bodies
[edit]I just added one accrediting body to the page. There are several other specific ones for nursing, psychiatry, etc. I hope to find the pages for these and add them also, although if someone else beats me to it, I won't complain! --Pordaria 23:57, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
I'd suggest clarifying the term "traditional CEU" in the text. Traditional as opposed to what?64.47.37.10 (talk) 16:44, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
