Question
[edit]Question: In the first section, it's talking about the years around 1902; but later on it talks about the population increase from 1920-1930. Doesn't that mean 1902-1903? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.58.139.82 (talk) 13:29, 13 November 2020 (UTC)
- No, it's correct. The problem is with an article that's terribly written and fails to provide pertinent details which would fill those gaps. Fairbanks had experienced a boom in the earliest years of the 20th century, mostly because Dawson City has seriously petered out by that point and Nome was soon to follow. After about a decade or so, it would experience the same fate. There was still an active mining industry in the area and agriculture was strong. It took the establishment of the FE Company to bring things back. RadioKAOS / Talk to me, Billy / Transmissions 07:47, 21 November 2020 (UTC)
