Redirect
[edit]when i wasn't logged in, i redirected For Those About to Rock to For Those About to Rock We Salute You. i also redirected the same-titled page from For Those About to Rock (We Salute You) (song) to For Those About to Rock (We Salute You). For Those About to Rock is not the actual name for the album, so i redirected the page to its original name. --Ac-dcfreak785 13:46, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:For Those About to Rock We Salute You.JPG
[edit]Image:For Those About to Rock We Salute You.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 09:27, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
Heavy Metal?
[edit]I don't think so! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.101.9.145 (talk) 04:13, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
Reference
[edit]The reference of the "Heavy Metal" label is not even to this album, it's to "Back in Black" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.101.9.145 (talk) 18:22, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
- They're metal down under mate. This page isn't just for Yankee opinions. It's supposed to be international. All music shops stock AC/DC in the metal section down here. 165.228.121.199 (talk) 22:12, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
- I agree that heavy metal should be put back up for AC/DC albums, at least from "Let There Be Rock" til this one. The 70s-early 80s definition of heavy metal fits the criteria for all those albums. 108.81.33.59 (talk) 21:34, 28 February 2014 (UTC)
Brackets
[edit]There are no brackets used in the title of the album on the CD cover here or the CD itself [1] Bretonbanquet (talk) 22:16, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, scratch that - it varies depending according to whatever edition of the CD / LP you have in your hand [2] Bretonbanquet (talk) 01:18, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
- Well, actually, the cover shown on Wikipedia doesn't even have the bracket part, so why is this CD called differently from the actual name given on the cover? 84.180.255.125 (talk) 22:35, 18 March 2011 (UTC) Joe King
Put the Finger on You
[edit]To those editors who keep adding "I" to the title of this song, and it seems to happen a lot - the title is simply "Put the Finger on You", not "I Put the Finger on You". Allmusic is wrong (fancy that!!). The CD track listing is shown here [3] Bretonbanquet (talk) 01:16, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
- I was about to do just that. I'm terribly sorry. [4] 84.248.218.89 (talk) 14:45, 5 November 2017 (UTC)
- It's really ok. Even some releases make the mistake. Bretonbanquet (talk) 16:26, 5 November 2017 (UTC)
No Video?
[edit]"This is the only AC/DC studio album where the group filmed no promotional videos." But wasn't this the original live filmed concert that was used to promote the album in the US "For Those About to Rock (We Salute You) by AC/DC. I uploaded this video because I think this is the best version of For Those About to Rock (We Salute You). The offcial live concert from Capital Center, Landover, Maryland, USA 21st December 1981." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chapulincolorado (talk • contribs) 19:01, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
