Future Link
[edit]Here is a source that will most likely be helpful for the future. another one for later and when I'm less tired to go through and add them. QueerFilmNerdtalk 21:11, 13 March 2020 (UTC)
WikiProject COVID-19
[edit]I've created WikiProject COVID-19 as a temporary or permanent WikiProject and invite editors to use this space for discussing ways to improve coverage of the ongoing 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic. Please bring your ideas to the project/talk page. Stay safe, --Another Believer (Talk) 18:02, 15 March 2020 (UTC)
New programming list?
[edit]Would this page be the appropriate page for new productions, spurred on by the closure?
- iHeart Living Room Concert for America, March 29
- Royal address to the nation, April 5
- Royal address to the nation, April 11
- Saturday Night Live at Home, April 11
- The Stellar Awards: Music of Hope, April 11
- Sesame Street: Elmo's Playdate, April 14
- One World: Together at Home, April 18
- Saving Our Selves: A BET COVID-19 Relief Effort, April 22
There's a list for starters. If we count streaming content, Saturday Night Passover Seder (which was a fundraising special) is comparable, given the dozens of celebrities that appeared. -- Zanimum (talk) 02:54, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
- I've added Impact of the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic on television#New programming created in response. -- Zanimum (talk) 03:55, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
Impact on film?
[edit]I'm not sure where else to say this, but there absolutely needs to be an "impact of the 2019-20 coronavirus pandemic on film" considering what it has delayed, the impact on the theater industry, and more. Sirkh1 (talk) 01:14, 20 April 2020 (UTC)
Didn't see this, thank you! Sirkh1 (talk) 01:25, 20 April 2020 (UTC)
Split?
[edit]At any point, are we open to splitting this?
The section on the United States is 3415 words, not counting the various charts. -- Zanimum (talk) 02:16, 21 April 2020 (UTC)
- Rather than splitting, we should work on shortening the sections that already have their own pages. QueerFilmNerdtalk 02:20, 21 April 2020 (UTC)
- Honestly, I think summarizing/splitting out details on the U.S. into a new article may be a better course of action. ViperSnake151 Talk 19:14, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
- Are there any further comments on this proposal? Most people will only want to read one article, so I don't believe that we should winnow the content down too far. -- Zanimum (talk) 03:55, 8 May 2020 (UTC)
I've created Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on television in the United States. -- Zanimum (talk) 02:24, 10 May 2020 (UTC)
Prodigal Son?
[edit]I think you forgot to put Prodigal Son among the list of shows that were affected. They were supposed to be 22 episodes. Instead they only filmed 20 episodes. So I think you should add it among the list.
- If you can provide us a source, we'll gladly add it to the list. QueerFilmNerdtalk 01:15, 22 April 2020 (UTC)
- Also should note that the episodes cancelled did not figure into the season finale at all due to Michael Sheen's London theater commitments; 120 and 121 were intended to be mostly separate from the remainder of the main season plotline and would have used him sparingly (as seen here and here). Countries allowing productions to resume
[edit]The Czech Republic, and New Zealand are allowing productions to begin work again, including The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series and the Lord of the Ring series, respectively. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 15:12, 8 May 2020 (UTC)
TV impact on South Korea
[edit]Hi, would anyone be able to fix issues pertaining to the paragraph on South Korean TV? Tried editing it but its too incoherent to continue. Thanks. TheGreatSG'rean (talk) 08:49, 27 May 2020 (UTC)
Pokemon Anime resumes
[edit]Hello On June 7th, the Pokemon anime will resume airing where it left off. I will put the source in the edit summary due to my screen-reader not recognizing audio captchas. The source is the oofficial twitter account. Aden Singh 45 (talk) 22:38, 6 June 2020 (UTC)
Ok I'll put the source in the edit summary so you can determine if it is reliable. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aden Singh 45 (talk • contribs) 22:38, 6 June 2020 (UTC)
TV impact on Japanese Television Drama
[edit]As COVID-19 spread widened in Japan between March to June, most of J-Drama series have refrained filming, and transmitted past drama series instead on each timeslots. In this circumstance, I omitted some series replacement since I focused on other topics on that period, yet there were some series to edit on this article for good.
At this moment, I would like to edit what I omitted. If it's possible, please reflect this information later.
- "Request to Angels ~The Last Wish of Life~" replaced to "Road ~ Taiwan Express ~"
- "My Precious Housekeeper Nagisa-san" replaced to "Junior High School Love Diary"
- "Deer Patient-Medical records of Bonds-" replaced to "Ashi Girl "
Gracias for reading. 211.237.125.110 (talk) 14:10, 12 June 2020 (UTC)
