Sucesión de Perón
[edit]La sucesión de Perón es compleja, porque no hay una renuncia expresa, que señale el momento de cese en su mando. Los hechos fueron así:
- 19 de septiembre de 1955
- Mediodía: Perón escribe una confusa carta al General Franklin Lucero, Comandante en Jefe (leal). Allí Perón da a entender que renuncia:
Hace algunos días... decidí ceder el poder...Ahora mi decisión es irrevocable... Decisiones análogas del vicepresidente y de los diputados... El Poder del Gobierno pasa por ello automáticamente a las manos del Ejército. Fuente: Historia Integral Argentina T10, CEAL, 1976, p. 23
- Después de la carta: se formó una junta militar que declaró que había asumido el poder integrada por los generales José Domingo Molina, Raúl D. Tanco, Juan José Valle, Angel J. Manni, Emilio Forcher, Oscar A. Uriondo, etc., mas un almirante y un brigadier.
- Noche: Perón se reune con la junta militar y le dice que la carta no es una renuncia explícita. La junta continuó igual.
- 20 de septiembre de 1955
- Mañana: Perón pide asilo en la embajada de Paraguay
- Mediodía: Perón se embarca en el buque paraguayo (cañonera) "Paraguay".
- En algún momento del día: Decreto Nº 1 firmado por el General Eduardo Lonardi. Dispone que Lonardi asume desde ese momento como "presidente Provisional de la Nación" (art. 1). Nombra secretario general de Gobierno (art. 2) y secretario de Relaciones Exteriores (azrt. 3). Solicita el reconocimiento de los otros países (art. 4). Establece que la Ciudad de Córdoba es sede provisoria del Gobierno, hasta que pueda trasladarse a Buenos Aires (art. 6).
- 22 de septiembre
- El Consejo Nacional del Uruguay reconoce al nuevo gobierno argentino
- Lonardi disuelve el Congreso y nombra interventores en tres provincias
- 23 de septiembre
- Lonardi jura como presidente
- 24 de septiembre
- Lonardi designa a Rojas vicepresidente
- 25 de septiembre
- EEUU y Gran Bretaña reconocen al nuevo gobierno

Not a President?
[edit]Even if the timeline is correct, Peron was in function until the morning of the 20th, and Lonardi declares himself President the same day. elpincha (talk) 20:47, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
