Birth year

Marva Denise Hicks was born in Petersburg, Virginia, on May 5, 1956, according to Virginia State birth records. Unfortunately, some notices of her death gave her birth year incorrectly as 1975 and her age as 47, though in fact she was 66. Her first recordings were in 1978, and her details are recorded correctly here. We are awaiting corrected reliable sources before adding her birth date to the article.
