A fact from Pavel Bashutsky appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 7 April 2017 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
The infobox gives an exact date of birth and death. Any sources for these? (The Russian language version seems pretty exact) Hawkeye7 (talk) 23:26, 18 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Hawkeye7:, hi, thanks for your message. Yep, that date is given by Polovtsov (ed, 1900); "Башуцкий, Павел Яковлевич, генерал-адъютант, генерал от инфантерии, с.-петербургский комендант, сенатор; род. 17-го августа 1771 г., ум. 11-го января 1836 г.". Regarding his birth date, 17 August is the OS and 28 August the NS, while regarding date of death, 11 august is the OS and 24 August the NS. Hope this answers your question - LouisAragon (talk) 02:35, 19 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
