Fair use rationale for Image:Pchs cougar.gif

[edit]

Image:Pchs cougar.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Balance

[edit]

The article is a bit unbalanced, I think. There are less than 500 words about the academic program, nothing about the conditions for teachers and pupils (hours, class size, salaries, equipment, funding), but about 10,000 words on sports. Remember that this is a school, not a stadium. --The very model of a minor general (talk) 16:30, 5 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Assessment July 2012

[edit]

I am assessing this article after a request here. I am assessing this article as Start/Low. The major issue with this article is the lack of balance in the article, there is to much focus on the extra curricular with the remainder of the article neglected, a good guide for sorting out the sections and adding balance can be found here. Another good place to look is at other school article that have achieved Good or Featured Article status. Thanks GlanisTalk 16:16, 5 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Pulaski High School/Pulaski Middle School

[edit]

I've tried to add a fair amount of content to the page to upgrade its classification, including more content on history and academics to offset the large amount of content in extracurriculars and athletics. To that end, if anyone has a good source of information about Pulaski High School (formerly Pico Terrace Elementary School, and currently Pulaski Middle School) then I would be extremely appreciative. Just leave the source on my talk page or here, and I'll be happy to draft up content based on it for the History section of this article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sarveri (talkcontribs) 10 July 2012‎
