Renaming
[edit]This article needs some revision on the names. "R4" is Remington's name for their regular DI M4/M4A1/M16A2 clones (although the Remington M4A1 being produced for the US Army is supposedly built to exactly the same specs as the Colt M4A1, just with "Remington" on the side instead of "Colt," and is not part of the R4 series). The firearm that was called the "GPC" a couple years ago is now called the "R5 RGP" (Remington Gas Piston). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.44.250.152 (talk) 04:41, 20 September 2012 (UTC)
- If it is a derivative weapon with some changes, the R4 would be a different weapon. Shadowgun master (talk) 04:27, 21 May 2014 (UTC)
