Pedigree info

[edit]

Surely there is a source of info (webpage or online community) that has enough information to construct a family tree of all the known rhinos. I can't find who Suni's parents are, despite being named half-sibling to Nabire and Najin, and that Sudan has sired another rhino, I can't confirm that Sudan is his father (is he?) or who the mother is. Is anyone on top of this? 88.107.180.218 (talk) 12:30, 26 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A list has been made 10 years ago: http://www2.rozhlas.cz/mlade/portal/vt000411b.htm Probabyl does not answert all your qestions, though. --WikiHannibal (talk) 09:49, 25 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

N. White Rhino wiki set-up

[edit]

There are pages for Sudan and Angalifu, but not all the rhinos. It would make sense to have some kind of pedigree page for the rhinos, rather than diffuse information spread over the separate pages for the individuals. This would then directly compliment the standard specie page and all information would be on only two interlinked pages. Any thoughts? 88.107.180.218 (talk) 12:30, 26 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Birthplace

[edit]

Similar to how people's birthplaces are East Germany or West Germany if they were born there before reunification, shouldnt the rhinoceros's birthplace be Sudan rather than South Sudan because it was a single country in 1973, with perhaps an indication that the location is present-day South Sudan?

You can add it as Sudan. It was born in the country Sudan. Nyanchoka : talk 2 me 18:41, 20 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Mdy

[edit]

Aren't we supposed to use the date format from the country of origin. The rhino was under Sudanese, or Kenyan government. Shouldn't we use dmy. I am willing to change the whole articles date format. If anyone is interested, what are your views? Nyanchoka : talk 2 me 18:38, 20 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
