this source below it says TKEM is the 12th most watched series on Netflix in August 2020
[edit]TKEM is 12th most watched series on Netflix worldwide in August 2020 beating other k-dramas released at that time. source below https://www.msn.com/en-in/news/other/the-king-eternal-monarch-beats-crash-landing-on-you-to-become-most-watched-k-drama-on-netflix-in-2020-yet/ar-BB17v1zQ?li=AAggjDC

- Being the number 12 most watched series on Netflix is from flixpetrol point system calculation, which was deemed unreliable here: Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard/Archive 297#Is Flix Patrol reliable? Also, it was #12 on flixpetrol for days only, this is not the end of year never changing reports/charts. It is #21 now, and is surpassed by another Korean series at #11. Wait for Netflix’s end of year reports, if the drama is mentioned, we will add its achievement (that were reported by Netflix, not flixpetrol) here.CherryPie94 🍒🥧 (talk) 08:51, 9 October 2020 (UTC)
In the msn article they are saying ibtimes published 12th place on Netflix for TKEM. Its not flixpatrol its Ibtimes. is IBtimes reliable or not? anyways its your wish to add it thanks 116.93.120.231 (talk) 11:43, 9 October 2020 (UTC)
It actually went up to 8th place for the year on July 12[1]. But unfortunately, Flixpatrol is not considered reliable; it is missing a lot of data. For example, several countries where The King Eternal Monarch made the Top 10 were only added to Flixpatrol database weeks after its finale aired. Who knows, with complete data, TKEM might have reached higher than 8th. Lizzydarcy2008 (talk) 18:14, 9 October 2020 (UTC)
Linkify manpasikjeok

Just a suggestion, references to the flute and/or the word Manpasikjeok could be linked to Daegeum

- Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Asartea Trick | Treat 17:08, 19 October 2020 (UTC)
- Change Manpasikjeok to [[Daegeum|Manpasikjeok]][1] as it's a reference to a specific type of flute. See also Daegeum, Tomb of Munmu of Silla#A tale of Manpasikjeok. Zacanger (talk) 20:00, 19 October 2020 (UTC)
- To editors Zacanger and Asartea: done, and thank you for thinking of this! P.I. Ellsworth ed. put'r there 01:43, 20 October 2020 (UTC)

December 2020
[edit]@CherryPie94: Hi, I have pinged you here to discuss as per instruction on Wikipedia:Neutral point of view/Noticeboard: Before you post to this page, you should already have tried to resolve the dispute on the article's talk page. This is regarding the following statement: GMA News Online termed it a "hit Netflix drama" due to its popularity overseas. Do you think, that this statement should be included in the lead section or in any part of the article? Don't you think it is bringing bias to the subject of the article. Per MOS:TVRECEPTION: we should preferably use global media outlets [...] major newspapers [...] major entertainment publications. Moreover this statement is contradicted by the South China Morning Post's article K-drama The King: Eternal Monarch tanked on Netflix but who is to blame – stars Lee Min-ho and Kim Go-eun, or writer Kim Eun-sook?. The statement in present use gives an undue weight to the subject of the article.
I feel that the phrase "hit Netflix drama" can be interpreted as both critical and commercial success. If we want to stress on its international popularity, we can remove this puffery phrase. Please feel free to correct me if you think I am wrong. Thank you. -ink&fables «talk» 06:33, 4 December 2020 (UTC)
@-ink&fables: That statement was added because other editors were saying the page was biased and is not showing the "true success" of the series. If you think we should remove it, or move it to the reception section, I don't see an issue. CherryPie94 🍒🥧 (talk) 11:20, 4 December 2020 (UTC)
- @CherryPie94: I have removed the entire statement along with the reference. I have given one more reason in the edit summary. See here. -ink&fables «talk» 17:44, 5 December 2020 (UTC)
Request for backstory of Kingdom of Corea
[edit]I'd love to know how the Kingdom of Corea came about, please. When and how did alternate history line diverge? 180.219.97.180 (talk) 03:00, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
- This isn't the place for that. Wikipedia is not a fandom forum. Xia talk to me 08:55, 20 December 2023 (UTC)
