Round length edit required
[edit]The page states that rounds are preceded by a 1 minute preparation phase, however in both casual and ranked gamemodes it only lasts for 45 seconds. The casual round length is also 3 minutes and 30 seconds, rather than the 4 minutes as stated in the page.

Protection downgrade
[edit]@Ad Orientem Hi. Can you downgrade this protection? Thank you. Dota 2 was also downgraded this week. 🥒Greenish Pickle!🥒 (🔔) 13:40, 5 May 2024 (UTC)
- @Greenish Pickle! I am a little leery of this given the long history of very aggressive disruptive editing. When making decisions about downgrading page protection, I need to consider multiple factors. Is the PP preventing a lot of editing? (not that I can see) What is the history of vandalism on the page? (extensive and pervasive) How many people are watching the page? (not many) There are only a little over 130 people watching this page. Many are probably not all that active. Dota 2 has almost twice as many page watchers. -Ad Orientem (talk) 15:12, 5 May 2024 (UTC)

Situations have since been removed from the game and is missing a time and date, the introduction of new modes such as verus AI and the removal of "white masks" all together along with recent changes to the lore and basic aspects of the game HBOMBKTM79H (talk) 11:21, 19 September 2024 (UTC)

Top Page Summary (Edited) Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is an online strategy multiplayer and game as a service, developed and published by the Guillemot family of Ubisoft. The series is one of the most played video games in France, Canada and the United Kingdom, internationally surpassing 70 million registered players in December 2020. Published in 2015 Siege introduces attack and defend strategy gameplay with each team controlling five operators. Players select from attack operatives, while defending operators reinforce the map. Operators are published each season by Ubisoft, with gamers purchasing and investing in their counter terrorism operator cards. The game has attracted millions of female players drawn to Rainbow Six Sieges artwork publishings, female counter intelligence units and operator cards such as Mira, Hibana, and IQ. The series has attained stardom recognition for it’s chess-like strategy among players, with operators selected and countered in the waiting lobby, attesting to each players skill and intelligence class. Initially released on Sony PS4 and Xbox One, Rainbow Six Siege went on to publish for the PS5 and Xbox Series, currently in it’s ninth (9) year in service on European, North American and Australian servers, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is considered a masterpiece in software development, artwork and season.
Under the leadership of CEO Yves Guillemot, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege was developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft in early Christmas December of 2015, with company origins in the north of France and maps like Chalet that narrative in the French Alps of Courchevel as seen in the Art of Siege Guide.
The playerbase is made of private sector programmers and software consultants leading FPS for pc and console gaming in french and japanese markets, with an 150 person development team of mainly experts and rainbow six players devoted to a loyalists fan base across all industries. Player comms are built around Ubisoft and Sony PS5 live streams, forum chats and headsets, where talking is necessary and casual players are often on the losing side. In Siege, being federal is expected and badges standard procedure when working against international arrest warrants. The team was consulted by counter terrorism units such as the French National Gendarmerie Intervention Group (GIGN), for their experience in real life scenarios and counter terrorism training exercises when publishing operators for players to select and choose from. The game received overall praise upon release with 76,000 copies sold at launch, debuting at number six on UK Software Charts before reaching 85 million registered players.
