The Librarian (painting)
[edit]- ... that Giuseppe Arcimboldo's painting The Librarian (pictured) is thought to be a portrait of historian Wolfgang Lazius?

- Reviewed Ring of Terror. Here is a Dropbox link for the Elhard article for the reviewer. Also, I welcome suggestions for a more interesting hook. Gamaliel (talk) 23:14, 4 September 2013 (UTC)
- Article created 3 September and is about 1850 bytes, satisfying DYK date and length criteria. The article is referenced, and I added a citation to a quotation that had not been cited using one of the supplied refs. I am assuming good faith for the Makes and Brunskog ref, which I cannot access. QPQ has been completed. Hook is of an appropriate length and cited in the article. - ALT1: ... that The Librarian (pictured) has been described as a "triumph of abstract art in the 16th century"?
Let's assume good faith on Mindmatrix's comments here. As I'm sure, references are reliable. No preference on either hook. --George Ho (talk) 16:28, 21 September 2013 (UTC)
