Ubangui Academy The Ubangui Academy was a school for missionary children run jointly by the Evangelical Covenant Church and the Evangelical Free Church in the Ubangui Region of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

In 1958, a new dormitory was completed at Karawa, 80 kilometers east of Gemena and the school grounds were gradually expanded to include seven classroom buildings, five residences reserved for teachers and administrators, additional housing for students, a workshop, and a variety of sports facilities.
