My interests

Jallang (Lul) William born (February 16th, 2001) in Ontario, Canada I am currently a student at Everett Community College, I live in Marysville Washington 15 to 20 minutes away from the school. My interests are software engineering, and computer engineering. This is my third year at Everett Community College after graduating at Marysville Getchell Highschool in 2019. I am interested in software engineering because I like to work with technology, and I am really curious about how technology works and the different chips used inside the technology to make it work. I am also a athlete I played Basketball, football, and ran track in high school, and I am currently a member of the men's basketball team at the college. My hobbies outside of school, and sports is hiking during the summer, going biking on the weekends, and art, and I am also interested in doing a art major if the software engineering route isn't working out.

My Wikipedia interests

My interests related to Wikipedia is to one day have a long bio about myself, and where I came from, and where I grew up. I think that it would be a honor to have a long biography about myself because most people that have biographies on Wikipedia are either famous or well known. This is a interesting site for me to use because you are able to learn about other people, and their up bringing's. You can use this site to find information about things you either are learning, or curious about. I believe if I use this site the right way I can get paid for making my own biographies, and editing articles on this site. If I end up working on content here long term the things I would do is edit information that I am interested like for example sports, and information about technology. What I hope to accomplish if I work as a voulunteer for this site is to have one of my articles to be one of the first articles to show up on the site when you visit the website.

Article Evaluation

I visited the article about Seattle. While there were many things that were worth commenting on, the three aspects that I chose to comment on are the founding of the city, the climate, and the history of the sports teams in the city of Seattle. I chose the founding of the city as one aspect to write on because it will describe how the city of Seattle first started, and the evolution of the city. The articles that speak about the climate of the city are really accurate, and describe how the weather works in the state of Washington. The sports teams was a topic I wanted to comment on because I am someone who is really interested in sports, and the history of each sports franchise in Seattle.

When I was reading, the founding of the city of Seattle has really old information, and it breaks down the first evolution of Seattle in the 17 to 1800’s.The sources seem to be not biased because this not a argumentative article, it just talks about how the city of Seattle has evolved since the Native Americans inhabited the Seattle area. While that part of the article has good information I would like to see more recent information on the founding of the city but it still breaks down the beginning stages of Seattle. There are no grammatical errors, and all of the information is relevant in that article. This article had different information every paragraph on how the city of Seattle has evolved.

Reading about the climate of Seattle was something I stood out because the information that was shared was really accurate. What was accurate was when the author stated that there are more rainy days than any other major city because during the winter and fall it will rain every other day in Seattle, and the whole state of Washington. The article was up to date until 2020 because when I was reading the article the information was old, and new up to date information. There were some facts I didn’t know about the climate of Seattle, the fact was it is cloudy 201 days a year, and partly cloudy 93 days a year. Seattle has the most clouds out of all of the regions, another fact I didn’t know about Seattle. The article is complete, and has some structure to the climate of Seattle.

The history of the sports teams was another article I am interested in because I am an athlete who is really interested in sports. The articles are up to date when it comes to the sports teams in Seattle. The article has information about the history of each franchise that has been a home in the city of seattle. The article talks about professional soccer, basketball, football, and baseball franchises that have been in the city of Seattle. When I click on the links of each franchise each link has tons of information that was summed up about each franchise in the article. The article has a paragraph about the history of each professional sports team. The article is really structured and organized with tons of information

When I read the articles the evolution of Seattle is interesting and has information, and new facts I haven’t learned yet, and there are links tied up to that article. The climate of Seattle is really accurate knowing how the weather is in the state of Washington, and there is different information about the weather that is true about the climate in the city, and the cities surrounding Seattle. When I went through the sports articles the articles had the link to many professional teams that have competed against Seattle, and links about each professional team. When I click on the link there are articles about professional leagues, franchises, and players in the links with many different sources writing the articles. The wikipedia page about Seattle has endless amounts of information with many different sources writing in each category that fits their expertise. The wikipedia page is structured, and organized that has a article occupied for each subject that has to do with the city of Seattle or the state of Washington.
