If you edit without a username, your IP address (128.106.241.250) is used to identify you instead.
In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}}

[edit]Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that in this edit to Association of Southeast Asian Nations, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 05:29, 18 June 2018 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

[edit] Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed maintenance templates from Association of Southeast Asian Nations. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Please see Help:Maintenance template removal for further information on when maintenance templates should or should not be removed. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. → GS → ☎ → 08:44, 29 August 2018 (UTC)
- My apologies, disregard that. I mistook you for another IP and did not realize that tag was in the lede (in my defense, it located the diff at line 114—pretty far down), where you were entirely correct in removing it given the context. Create an account, you're making useful contributions. → GS → ☎ → 09:35, 29 August 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Matt Smith. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Greater China have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the help desk. Thanks. --Matt Smith (talk) 03:15, 29 April 2019 (UTC)
- Per your edit summary in which you promised to continue reverting: "Undo a thousand times, I'll remove a thousand more times". I became aware of your edits per a complaint about the Greater China article that was filed at WP:RFPP. EdJohnston (talk) 04:38, 29 April 2019 (UTC)You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for edit warring, as you did at Greater China. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page:
{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
