Speedy deletion of Lowless And Lowless
[edit]A tag has been placed on Lowless And Lowless, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. TN‑X-Man 11:52, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
Hi, I have reverted your edits; firstly, writing standards about fiction state that we write "out of universe", that is, not as though the fiction is real- for this reason, your removal of Ralf Little from the "starring" field of the infobox was incorrect, as he starred in Series 1 - 6 (55 episodes), and this does not change now he's no longer in it. Secondly, your addition of Lee Oakes and Luke Gell as "starring" is original research which requires a reliable source; it makes no sense to include them, since they only appeared in 24 and 8 episodes respectively, whereas Hayley Bishop, Beverley Callard and Jonathon Dutton appeared in 26, 19 and 11 episodes respectively yet have never been listed as "starring", by the BBC, yourself or anyone else. Thanks. --Rodhullandemu 09:32, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

Images
[edit]Please do not claim pd-self on images that you have not taken yourself. Those single covers are copyright violations with the incorrect tag you have laced on them. I'm deleting them all. In future, please see how an established article labels its images. Note the correct tags its uses, and the detailed source and fair use rationale. The JPStalk to me 09:09, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
Blocked
[edit]Alex, you have been blocked for 55 hours, the same length as your other account User:Alexd17. I notice you have been making some useful edits, and I encourage you to continue them when your block expires. However, bock evasion is not acceptable. Edits
[edit]Alex, you're confusing me -- some of your edits are useful, while others take time to correct. This, for example, has a useful copyediting correction, but also a random incorrect change. The JPStalk to me 12:59, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
- And this. Why? The JPStalk to me 13:03, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
- Re: Michael Greco. We can't have non-free images in articles about living people, as a free alternative could be created. The JPStalk to me 13:06, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
- Present tense, please. The show still exists. The JPStalk to me 13:59, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
- Alex, it's difficult to assume good faith when so many of your edits are disruptive. As a result, you have been temporarily blocked. I encourage you to contribute constructively if you return, and clean up any mistakes you make. The JPStalk to me 09:58, 27 October 2008 (UTC)

Edit summaries
[edit]Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field – please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you.

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Computer virus. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Not only is this image not a screenshot form a television programme, no source is specified. You have been told before about misusing tags. The JPStalk to me 23:03, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
- Alex, the screenshot tag is only to be used for a screngrab. A promotional photograph is not a screenshot. Sources must always be provided. You know this. I'm blocking you for 2 weeks, again, as you have been warned and blocked many times about this under this and your other accounts. When you return, please do not continue to waste your time (and mine) by uploading unsourced copyright violations that will need to be deleted. The JPStalk to me 15:27, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
