Proposed deletion of Social Brain Lab

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Social Brain Lab, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

university laboratory that does not meet WP:N. Mentioned awards are standard grants and not enough to establish encyclopedic notability

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello C.m.keysers! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 475 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Christian Keysers - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Orphaned non-free image File:YAE Logo.png

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:YAE Logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

File source problem with File:YAE Logo.png

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:YAE Logo.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 13:58, 5 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

CK: I just added the author of the image to the file description. I'm on the board of the YAE, and thus have the authority to use the logo. C.m.keysers (talk) 08:49, 6 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of Interest issues

[edit]

Hi, I came across articles you contributed to heavily, namely Christian Keysers, Young Academy of Europe, Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience and Bas Kast. You also say on Talk:Christian Keysers that you are Christian Keysers. I would like to make you aware of the WP:COI policy of which a central tenet is You are strongly discouraged from editing affected articles. You may propose changes by using the {{request edit}} template on talk pages. I would suggest therefore that you refrain from editing articles where you have a close association and if you need further assistance, request it via the WP:Teahouse.
