MOS style question for you - I'm new to editing - why re-add that whitespace between sections when the rest of the article does not have a single space line added in MattFry7 (talk) 00:28, 20 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Just curious! MattFry7 (talk) 03:51, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for the delay. I just thought that there shouldn't be whitespace between sections. I could be mistaken. David O. Johnson (talk) 04:06, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Robert F. Kennedy Jr. 2024 presidential campaign, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page ABC News.

VP debate tense

[edit]

Hey. Did you mean to change the tense in your most recent edit? Prcc27 (talk) 06:09, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
Yes, that was intentional. That's the phrasing used in the title, though I admit it does sound unnatural, or at least unusual. David O. Johnson (talk) 06:15, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

Heya - thanks for your never-ending citation cleanup behind Newsjunkie in the Blue Bloods articles. I've recently tried giving him advice on properly completing his cites - but looks like over the weekend he did another big swath of them without filling them out. Looks like others have tried advising him as well, per his talk page - but it all seems to go ignored. I am sure it is creating a lot of busywork that is otherwise unnecessary - so I am sure you are also thankful for the tools that help you do it, but I want to thank you just the same. I may wait a few days before reminding him again and then escalate if it continues. Thanks again! Appreciate all your work. --Picard's Facepalm Made It So Engage! 14:43, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I've noticed that for a couple of the refs, (like the Twitter posts) the ref info provided by reFill is pretty generic (e.g. title=x.com), so they'll have to fixed at some point. David O. Johnson (talk) 21:33, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

FYI

[1] In-line citations can support more than one sentence, but they have to be in the same paragraph. Ed [talk] [OMT] 00:28, 25 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the heads up. David O. Johnson (talk) 03:27, 25 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
