Autobiography

[edit]

Please note that Wikipedia discourages writing about yourself or people close to you. With the short, factual articles you have authored, it shouldn't be a big deal, but please be prepared and don't take too much offense if somebody decides to nominate these articles for deletion on this basis. up+land 08:33, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the good advice. I have read the information and will mend my ways. Kind regards:Johannes 11:46, 14 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate images uploaded

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Hollegha painting.JPG. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Hollegha.JPG. The copy called Image:Hollegha.JPG has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Fine with me! The article needs to be updated and amplified. Johannes (talk) 13:23, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Johann Nepomuk! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 3 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 178 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Gerhard Gleich - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Wolfgang Hollegha - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to International Contact Group (Basque politics) may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • European Committee for the Prevention of Torture and inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment]]) 1997-2009 and President from 2000 to2007.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited International Contact Group (Basque politics), you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages CPT and SPT (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Information icon Welcome, and thank you for contributing the page Krähenberg, Bremen to Wikipedia. While you have added the page to the English version of Wikipedia, the article is not in English. We invite you to translate it into English. It currently has been listed at Pages Needing Translation, but if it is not translated within two weeks, the article will be listed for deletion. Thank you. Berek (talk) 09:42, 14 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Did you intend this one for de.wikipedia? It's a red link at de:Krähenberg (Begriffsklärung). Anyway, two of us have translated it. Can you please add some references? Otherwise it will probably be found to be not sufficiently notable to have an article. Yngvadottir (talk) 12:29, 14 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Yngvadottir, yes, I mistakenly put this into the English Wikipedia. But even there, it was ill-fated and got deleted. Therefor, let us forget about it. Sorry and kind regards: Johannes (talk) 07:54, 11 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I believe that I have meanwhile fulfilled all reasonable requirements. What would happen if I publish the page myself without formal authorization? Johannes (talk) 08:03, 15 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Notice

The file File:Bill (Onati, 1995).JPG has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
