AS
[edit]Not sure why an anon is insisting on adding Wrong Planet to the external links on Asperger syndrome, when it's already listed under See also, but all the editors might have to decide how to best handle this. I've long thought a new, and more comprehensive, template might solve a lot of these issues. Sandy 22:06, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
Excellent comment today on AS Talk page Asperger Syndrome. I have been saddened to see the recent encouragement of mud-slinging and think your take on things is wonderfully appropriate. Thanks for the redirection of energies you have suggested. Kiwi--Kiwi 18:27, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
Hi
[edit]Hi, Keyne. I'm glad you let me know. I see you do not have e-mail activated: I do.
My opinion is that some causes are lost causes, and will only bring perpetual grief upon your head. I think the issues there are clear to any outside reader. Also, I have been in mediation twice with this person, and Zeraeph refused to mediate, so I don't know if you will get any resolution of the issue. In my case, mediation only gave Zeraeph the means by which to further spread innuendo about me across many other forums. I do understand the irritation at being called a sock/meat puppet, but you have nothing to worry about, since truth is on your side, and the evidence will bear that out. Accusations of sock/meat puppetry are taken very seriously on Wiki, and require real proof: obviously, as you and I both know, there is none. You are so much more level-headed in your commentary, and precise in your writing than I am, so it actually flatters me that anyone finds similarities in our writing styles :-) I'm sorry to take pleasure in your obvious discomfort :-) The other irony is that I am *so* busy on Wikipedia, I can't imagine where I would find the time, energy, or wherewithal to spend time in sock or meat puppetry: I wouldn't know if I was coming or going :-))
I also find the MedCab to be, at times, even worse than useless. At times, they do more harm than good. Anyone can take a case, so you can get a mediator who is literally brand-new to Wiki, doesn't know policies, and really messes thing up. I strongly suggest that, if the serious allegations against you continue, you take it to the *real* mediators, at WP:RFM. I have had *one* good mediator at MedCab, but unfortunately, he won't be able to take your case because of the conflict of interest of having defended me against Zeraeph's previous allegations against me. I'm sorry to say that MedCab will drag you through the mud, and I don't believe it will get you any result or satisfaction. My *real* recommendation, though, is that you simply ignore Zeraeph. The behaviors are not going to change, with or without mediation, or regardless of your actions. The AS article will be fine, as so many FAR reviewers are now aware of the problems. In your shoes, I'd try not to worry about unfounded allegations, although I fully understand that is easier said than done.
I have an exceedingly busy two weeks coming up, with limited internet access. But, 1) there is no case, and 2) I don't believe mediation will address the fundamental issues occurring here. I wish you the best, stay in touch even if I delay in responding over the next few weeks, I am *really* *really* sorry to see you being drug through this.
I don't mind if you link this response in to the case, although I don't recommend that: I simply do not believe you will get any satisfaction, resolution, or justice from MedCab. It only works if both parties are willing. Good luck, Sandy 14:13, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
- PS, in case you need them, the previous cases involving Zeraeph: Wikipedia:Mediation Cabal/Cases/2006-07-19 Domineering Editor on Asperger Syndrome and Wikipedia:Mediation Cabal/Cases/2006-07-23 User:Zeraeph. Sandy 14:37, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, well, that last post was silly of me. I see now that things have progressed way beyond that. Well, I'll be ignoring the entire thing. Glad to hear you're in Chicago: although I travel a lot and an IP check on me will reveal that, I've fortunately not traveled to the midwest :-) Best of luck, Sandy 14:53, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
Have you looked at Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/A Kiwi ? Sandy 16:55, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
- No, it's no longer amusing. MedCab is silly. Checkuser is not. If Kiwi is who I think she is (the person who has been e-mailing me), I am now compromised, because she has an AOL account, and I have an AOL account. THAT is why disruptive posters are best ignored. I, who have avoided Zeraeph since the FARC ended, will now have to defend myself, although you will come out fine. Sandy 17:36, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
- It's doesn't matter that she will eventually be proven wrong. I have been smeared now (without a piece of evidence ever), in 3 MedCab cases, two ANI reports, across multiple user talk pages, on several article talk pages, and now in CheckUser. If the goal is simply to sully my name, it has been successful. Sandy 17:47, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
Keyne, tried to email you, but you don't accept emails. Just wanted to say, "Listen to Sandy and keep your chin up!" - the AOL subscriber who previously wrote Sandy — Preceding unsigned comment added by TRCourage (talk • contribs) 19:43, 31 August 2006
Keyne, the UserCheck is complete, and as we both already knew, it shows we're all unrelated (duh). Now, I strongly suggest ignoring the provocations, because it will always give her reason to drag us through something. If you need to talk, e-mail me. Be well, Sandy 22:46, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
Aykroyd
[edit]Here's how I handled the Aykroyd rumor. Since the diagnosis didn't even exist then, it seems clear that he was probably joking. Hope all is well with you, Sandy 16:46, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
Asperger Syndrome up for FARC again
[edit]Things are not as volatile or contentious as last year, and divergent POVs that don't fit into the medical/psychology professional article seem to have been adequately dealt with by the creation of many spin-off articles, I would ask if you had the time to drop by, browse the article and, if you feel moved to do so, to record your opinion now that the commentary period is now active. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Featured_article_review/Asperger_syndrome#FARC_commentary
Thank you for your time and consideration. Kiwi Kiwi 20:00, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
In view of your contributions to the Asperger syndrome article, would you please comment at this AfD (if you have not already done so). I'm looking to close that AfD, but it seems to need more comment. Thanks. -- Jreferee T/C 17:21, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
