A tag has been placed on Tunde Lemo requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Notice

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ArbCom 2018 election voter message

[edit]

Hello, Livingstone Imonitie. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Livingstone Imonitie. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or draft page you started, Draft:Harry Uzoka.

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it. — JJMC89(T·C) 02:43, 20 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Verification in the lead

[edit]

Hi there,

I've undone a number of your most recent edits to politicians, on the basis of MOS:LEADCITE. Generally speaking, the lead paragraph of any article doesn't require citations because the lead paragraph summarises the body of the article (which contains the appropriate verification). This is to avoid repetition in citations. An exception to this would be for material that is likely to be challenged, or deemed controversial. Thanks, —MelbourneStartalk 04:39, 23 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on MOBicure, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

Speedy deletion nomination of Mobicure

[edit]

Hello Livingstone Imonitie,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Mobicure for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Mina Margaret Ogbanga moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Mina Margaret Ogbanga, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your page to draft space (with a prefix of Draft: before the article title) where you can work on it with minimal disruption. When you feel that it meets our notability and neutrality requirements, and is thus ready for mainspace, please submit it using the Articles for Creation template on the page. Hello, Livingstone Imonitie,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Onel5969 and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I’ve proposed an article that you started, Mobicure, for deletion because it meets one of the relevant criterion. The particular issue can be located in the notice, that is now-visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to prevent the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click Publish Changes button.

But, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the raised issues. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Onel5969}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Nomination of Mobicure for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Mobicure is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. signed, Rosguill talk 16:32, 16 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Abiodun Falodun

[edit]

Hello Livingstone Imonitie,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Abiodun Falodun for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

Sock pupperty

[edit]

A new user who joined Wikipedia two days ago was blocked for sock pupperty and I was blocked too because of same IP address.

I think there is a misunderstanding somewhere. I've been on Wikipedia for 2 years now and never shared my device with anyone.

I appeal for the blocked to be removed as I am unfairly punished for a crime I did not commit. Livingstone Imonitie (talk) 09:49, 15 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Livingstone Imonitie. Thank you for directly emailing me about this autoblock problem, caused by my blocking of User:Globalgistng12. I have replied by email, and will attempt to fix this for you. (The guidance to new users at Wikipedia:Autoblock seems extraordinarily confusing, and I am struggling to understand the process myself. So it seems unfair of my just to say 'follow the instructions' and leave you to it). Nick Moyes (talk) 11:28, 15 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Nick for the reply.

I've also sent an appeal to the blocking administrators. I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best.

@Livingstone Imonitie: I am glad this was quickly sorted for you. Sorry you had the problem in the first place.
@Cryptic: Thank you for sorting this out for me. I would really welcome some guidance on dealing with this if it happens again. What did I fail to grasp in the guidance in lifting the autoblock myself, or is it only something that the blocked editor can appeal to have done via the autoblock template? Did they get essential information in their block notice that I couldn't access? I couldn't find an "#xxxxx number" at Special:BlockList, nor could I understand the instructions about looking in 'sections'in bullet point 3 at Template:Autoblock. As a new admin, this is the first issue I've encountered where I'm at a total loss to know how to handle it myself, and I feel I rather let this user down in not being able to sort it out quickly for them without amending my original block, and I see you hadn't altered it to remove that original autoblock of the sockpuppet. If you could give me a steer, I'd be really grateful. Thanks Nick Moyes (talk) 22:38, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
They were both there. Clicking the "Hide single IP blocks" option to filter out the proxy-blocker-bot spam helps a lot; autoblocks are never indefinite, account, or range blocks, so you can hide those too; and you only have to search back 24 hours. —Cryptic 14:06, 17 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please kindly unblock me so I can continuing adding content to Wikipedia.

Addition of incorrect images to articles

[edit]

Hello, I noticed your mass insertions of images, including c:File:Warren Miller.jpg on Warren L. Miller [1]. I can see this was done less than a minute after your previous edit, evidently without any conscious thought on your part, assuming you even read the article or the image description. Otherwise you would have seen how implausible it would be for the Warren Miller featured as a young man in Sporting Life in 1911 to still be receiving presidential appointments in 2001, at which point he would have been over 100 years old.

Please slow down your edits in future, and double-check all your mass image additions; since you have made this error, you have probably made others. – Teratix 01:11, 23 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the correction. I'll be more careful next time. Livingstone Imonitie (talk) 07:31, 23 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

The autoblock should now be lifted. In the future, please use {{unblock-auto|...}} and properly fill in the fields. This will allow the block to be lifted more quickly. What's happening is that you are sharing your IP address with a number of spammers and other problematic editors in your area. That's not unusual, I'm afraid. Unfortunately, because of these spammers, you will be unable to edit from time to time. --Yamla (talk) 12:00, 26 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Uju Obuekwe moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Uju Obuekwe, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hatchens (talk) 04:51, 6 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I will improve on the article. Livingstone Imonitie (talk) 05:52, 6 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Livingstone Imonitie. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Uju Obuekwe, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Livingstone Imonitie. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Livingstone Imonitie|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. ... discospinster talk 01:15, 8 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Discospinster, I believe there is a misunderstanding as I am not being directly or indirectly compensated for my edits.

I felt the subject deserved a page and decided to write on it. All I'm doing is add to the open encyclopedia.

Thank you for reaching out. Livingstone Imonitie (talk) 01:24, 8 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Can you tell then where this image comes from? ... discospinster talk 01:31, 8 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Celestina007 thank you for the message.

The page Uju Obuekwe was not done in exchange for payment or any compensation. Livingstone Imonitie (talk) 08:54, 12 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You still have not adequately responded or taken action to the inquiry regarding your appearance as an undisclosed paid editor. If you make any additional edits without complying you may be blocked from editing. Celestina007 (talk) 16:29, 18 April 2021 (UTC) [reply]

You have told discospinster so but your actions via your new article contradict and betray that claim, continue down this path and you’d be indefinitely blocked from editing here. This is your third official warning. Celestina007 (talk) 16:55, 18 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I was recently blocked indefinitely because it was investigated and seen that I was abusing multiple accounts as a sockpuppet. I think there is a misunderstanding somewhere because I do not have a multiple wikipedia accounts. Perhaps, maybe someone else was using my IP address or something. I humbly request to be unblocked. I feel I am been punished for something I have no idea about. Kindly look into thisLivingstone Imonitie (talk) 18:30, 18 April 2021 (UTC)

Decline reason:

Proecuedral decline only as this account is not blocked. If for some reason you find that you cannot edit, please make another appeal that includes the text of the block message you see when you try to edit. Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 19:30, 20 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. You aren’t blocked, however your sock account @Esmeruby is. Celestina007 (talk) 18:45, 18 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
