Thanks for this. The RADA addition was not meant to be a test- it was adding information about the Centenary Portraits book and exhibition. Did I do something in error? Ondinesasha (talk) 10:30, 18 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. That was because I invoked a standard template to format the above panel, and it was the only choice approximating your edit. If you look at my edit summary, I have also written "Wrong section (probably History), undated, and uncited". However the wider issue is that, judging by your name, you are related to the subject you are writing about, and you can see the info re COI editing below. Wikipedia is supposed to be an encyclopaedia drawn from neutral, reliable, published sources, and can only publish what is cited about a person in such sources, especially for living persons. It is not here for promotional purposes. Feel free to add cited information to the talk pages of articles relating to such a person, but do not edit them yourself if you are related to that person, please. Hi there - many thanks - that is helpful I'll do that - we have been asked to update the info as it was so out of date - your suggestion of adding to the Talk Page makes sense (I'll try and work out how we do that.) Much appreciated. Thanks. Ondinesasha (talk) 11:16, 21 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No worries, and thanks for your understanding. You will see that I have added a few bits and pieces from sources I found, and improved the formatting of the article in recent days. I may or may not get back to this in the near future! Laterthanyouthink (talk) 11:32, 21 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Oh my - that is brilliant thank you! Hugely appreciated. If I have any suggestions should I come to you here or just post somewhere else? I see one thing: he was brought up in Llanidloes, Powys rather than Machynlleth, Powys I believe. Thanks again for your help. Ondinesasha (talk) 13:18, 21 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No worries. I see that another editor has also been busy on it since. With regard to where he was brought up, that info was from a published source, and we'd need a published source that shows the other place in order to add it. If you have any other suggestions or requests about the article, it's best to write on the talk page of the article - that way, other editors can see it also. The article is on my watch list so I will be notified of changes and will look when I have time. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 01:00, 22 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
